We also sell farm grown vegetables in our Country Store. The state house, nicknamed the "golden lighthouse" by local children, is located right in downtown Concord. It was built in 1812 out of locally quarried granite in the Greek Revival style. The visitor center is open weekdays until 3pm, offering both self-guided and docent-led tours. Highlights inside include the Hall of Flags, portraits of historic figures, permanent and changing exhibits, and the original chambers of both houses of legislature, which are still in use.
